Gaydos, Jr." The Firm located in Mckeesport, PA concentrated in Personal Injury Law as well as the General Practice of Law. In 1992 The Firm moved to White Oak Pa. where it remains today. Over the years we have maintained Pittsburgh offices , however, the great majority of our clients prefer to meet in the suburbs at our White Oak offices. Of course, since the main focus of this Law Practice is Personal Injury Law we recognize that a great number of our clients are too injured to come to us. In those cases we will travel to the client to see them. In 1992, Joseph M Gaydos, Sr. Joined the Firm after retiring from The United States Congress as a Representative of the 20th Congressional District. The Firm name was Changed to "Gaydos, Gaydos & Associates". Then retired Congressman Joseph Gaydos Sr. remained with the firm handling Governmental Relations until 1994 when he retired for the second and final time!! In 2010, The firm became a "Professional Corporation" "Gaydos, Gaydos & Associates, P.C." Throughout the history of this firm it has remained primarily a Personal Injury Law Firm representing injured people. However our strong ties to Government remain as is evidenced by a number of positions held by our Attorneys. Joseph M. Gaydos Jr. has represented as, Solicitor or Special Counsel, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, the Township of North Versailles, Township of South Park, The Borough of Bethel Park, the Bethel Park Municipal Authority and The County of Allegheny. He was appointed to serve on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Board where he served two four year terms as a hearing board member and Chairman.     As an Associate Attorney at Gaydos, Gaydos & Associates, P.C., Michael R. Potochny (“Mike”), a proud native of Western Pennsylvania, guides clients through all stages of the complicated litigation process. Having worked with the firm since 2014, Mike has represented clients in need by appearing in arbitration, civil, domestic, magisterial, orphans’, and tax appeal divisions for matters ranging from adoptions to enforcement of mechanic’s liens and contract defense. Although Mike has successfully litigated outcomes in Pennsylvania State and Federal courts, he recognizes that litigation is not always in the client’s best interest, and he takes pride in his ability to quickly assess cases so that his clients can make informed, educated decisions. Outside of the courtroom, Mike spends a considerable amount of time negotiating settlements so that his clients can move forward confidently toward the next chapter of life. Mike’s prior experience with the Pennsylvania Superior Court as a judicial clerk serves him well at Gaydos, Gaydos & Associates, P.C. His clerking experience with the appellate court gave him the opportunity to sharpen his legal research and writing skills while allowing him to thoroughly understand the considerations given by our appellate courts in deciding cases. Mike, a proud alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh, earned dual bachelor’s degrees in English and Communications/Rhetoric before he returned to graduate with his law degree. Mike is admitted to practice in the highest court of the Commonwealth, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, in addition to the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Mike lives in the South Hills with his wife, Alyssa, daughter, Elle, and two Shih Tzus, Wyatt and Maggie. When he is not in the office or courtroom, Mike enjoys spending time with friends and family, supporting the Pittsburgh Pirates, and playing tennis.

  • Lori B. Love

    ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

    Lori B. Love, born and raised in the City of Pittsburgh, is an Associate at Gaydos, Gaydos & Associates, P.C. Lori handles the majority of the firm’s domestic law cases including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, protections from abuse, and other domestic relations matters. Lori has successfully litigated many cases in these areas of practice and passionately advocates for the interests of her clients. Lori is keenly aware of the stress and anxiety that can come with domestic relations matters and is able to use her knowledge and experience to quickly assess a client’s case and develop the most favorable plan of action. While Lori spends a significant amount of time advocating for her clients in the courtroom, when she is not in court, Lori is often meeting with clients and negotiating marital settlement agreements and consent orders to assist clients in settling matters outside of court whenever possible. In addition to family law, Lori has experience representing clients in a variety of other criminal and civil law matters, including DUI, summary offenses, real estate, debt defense and personal injury. Lori also completed a clerkship with the Honorable Judge Dwayne Woodruff of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Family Division. Lori graduated Summa Cum Laude from Point Park University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. She earned her Juris Doctorate at Duquesne University School of Law in 2014. While attending law school, Lori competed in the 2013 National Trial Advocacy Competition, as well as serving on the executive boards of several active student organizations. Lori also regularly donated her time at numerous charity events. Lori has been a dedicated public servant. Prior to attending law school, Lori spent several years working in the corrections field. Lori also worked for three years as a Caseworker for the Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth and Families and in the past, has performed pro bono work for Neighborhood Legal Services.

    LEGAL ASSISTANT AND BUSINESS MANAGER

    Sheri Campbell serves as both a Legal Assistant and Business Manager for Gaydos, Gaydos & Associates, P.C. As Business Manager, Sheri oversees the firm's daily operation and administrative function, including financial management, human resources, and facilities management. As a Legal Assistant , Sheri works closely with the Personal Injury division where she assists attorneys throughout all stages of the litigation process. Sheri maintains close relationships with our clients and makes herself accessible with respect to their individual treatment statuses and plans of care.

  • Deborah Wysni

    of Counsel

    Deborah Wysni graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 2010. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of Wooster in 1977. As you can see there is a great deal of time between the graduation dates and with that comes a lot of life experience. She has experience with City Government through her job as Secretary to Mayor of McKeesport from 2000 to 2003. She is a wife, a mother and an attorney. She has experience in many different areas including construction, small business, non-profit formation through acquisition of 501(c)3 status, elder law and family law. She has been through many of the life experiences that you may now be facing and knows some of the problems that can arise. Deborah is here to help you make sense of the legalese and take care of any problems that may develop as well as help you by pre-planning to avoid some of those problems from occurring in your life. Deborah is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Women in the Profession Commission of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.     Lauren M. Peretich is a law clerk at Gaydos Law, P.C. Lauren is from Liberty Borough and attended South Allegheny High School where she graduated valedictorian. Lauren attended Seton Hill University on an academic scholarship for her achievements in the field of chemistry. During Lauren’s time at Seton Hill, she was the goalie of the women’s soccer team and math club president. Lauren graduated Cum Laude from Seton Hill with dual bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Actuarial Science. Lauren attended Michigan State University College of Law on an academic scholarship for intellectual property law. During her time at Michigan State, she was a member of the federalist society. Lauren earned her Juris Doctorate in 2019. After graduation, Lauren moved to California where she worked as a paralegal on pharmaceutical antitrust class actions for about a year. A native Pittsburgher, Lauren wanted to return to the Steel City where she is studying for the Pennsylvania Bar Exam. In her free time, Lauren likes to give back to the community by participating in various organizations, such as the National Organization of Italian American Women, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the Turtle Rescue League.
